Job summary

Overhaul Carriers Ltd. is hiring a Local Class A Tractor Trailer driver in the Lynchburg, VA area. Home daily, Monday–Saturday morning shift, with a 300 mile operating radius and about 1,500 miles per week.

Compensation: $1,600–$1,750 per week plus a $3,000 sign‑on bonus. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years tractor trailer experience, valid CDL Class A, ability to pass a DOT drug screen, and a clean driving record per company policy.

• Minimum age 21 with valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine Test).
• Moving violations: no more than 3 in last 3 years.
• No major accidents or fatalities in last 3 years.
• No more than 3 tickets/accidents; at most 1 preventable in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver freight on time within 300 mile radius of Lynchburg, VA.
• Manage daily routes and maintain safe driving practices.

Miles per week: 1500.

Duties: Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21, Valid CDL Class A license.


• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, Urine Test.


• Moving Violation: No more than 3 in the last 3 years.


• Accident: No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injury treated away from the scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle within the previous three 3 years.


• Tickets: No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets. No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience.


• Felonies/Misdemeanors: No criminal history that includes assault and battery, theft, robbery, sexual assault/sex offender.


• DUI/DWI: No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old.
