Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Class A experience.

• Valid Class A CDL with ability to drive both standard and automatic.
• 1 year flatbed experience required.
• Experience pulling 53’ flats with oversized loads preferred.
• Knowledge of securing flatbed freight with chains, binders, and straps.

Responsibilities

• Read bills of lading to determine assignment details.
• Inspect loads to ensure cargo is secure and safe.
• Inventory and inspect goods for quantity and condition.
• Secure cargo for transport with chains, binders or tarps.
• Follow safety procedures for oversized loads.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions per signals.
