This position requires driving tractor trailers and straight trucks, conducting inspections, and ensuring the safe transport of materials. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Driver’s License.
• Must pass Physical/Drug Screen and Background.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Three plus years’ experience driving required.
• Must pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Transport materials from customers to SA Recycling facilities.
• Secure cargo for transport.
• Communicate safety or equipment issues.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle status.

Skills

Experience driving tractor trailers

Ability to operate roll on/off containers

Effective communication skills

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

Education

High School diploma or GED
