Qualifications

• Must hold Class A CDL and be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle.
• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Must meet all Federal and State requirements for CMV operation.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers – addressing questions and providing documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatch to adjust routes or schedules to meet customer needs.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs per Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels.

Job Summary

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. We are starting this role at $28.00/hr

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
• Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: N/A
• Certification / Licensure: Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Work Experience: Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Must be able to meet all Federal and State requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $26.75 - $38.75 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.

For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
