Job summary

Continental Van Lines in the Puget Sound area is seeking experienced Class A drivers. Home every night and eligible for medical, dental, 401k, paid time off, and holiday pay after 30 days.

Responsibilities include safely inspecting and operating vehicles, providing quality customer service, packing/unpacking household goods, wrapping furniture, and inventory of items. Full-time with a start around 7:00am, based in Washington state.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid WA State Class A Drivers License with a safe and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to be DOT qualified through our national carrier.
• Be able to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Proficiency in English, reading, writing, and verbal skills.
• Able to communicate positively and effectively with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to lift 75 lbs for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Safely inspect and operate vehicles.
• Comply with all State, Local and Company Covid-19 regulations.
• Providing quality customer service at all times.
• Team leader.
• Packing & unpacking household goods.
• Wrapping furniture and equipment.
• Working with moving equipment and tools.
• Disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment.
• Carry heavy items.
• Inventory household goods.
