Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Local Driver in Savannah, GA. You will operate an automatic day cab, pull a 53' dry van, and perform trailer delivery within 100 miles of Savannah with no touch freight.

Requirements include a valid CDL-A, 1 year of recent experience, and a clean DOT physical. Eligible drivers can expect competitive hourly pay with OT and benefits, plus opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year.
• Must be at least 23 years old or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a Local Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$26.00/hr. - $29.00/hr. +OT

Shift(s):

Monday-Friday 6:00am-8:00am start time, 8-12 hour shift

What You'll Do

What You'll Need
