Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Local Delivery Driver in Carnegie, PA. You will safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders of compressed gas to customer locations from a branch or plant using company-provided trucks, while building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• 1 year of Class A driving within last 5 years with clean record (<=2 convictions) or two at-fault accidents in 3 years, or 1 conviction + 1 at-fault in 3 years.
• Diploma from accredited driving school acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and comprehend MSDS.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs, up to 125+ with assistance.
• Able to drive hazardous cargo up to 8 hours; frequent bending.
• Work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must obtain forklift operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Cylinder Handling: Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations.
• Record Keeping: Document deliveries/pickups and collect signatures; return empty/rejected cylinders for refilling.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow SAFECOR and DOT/EPA/FMCSA/FDA/OSHA requirements.
• Warehouse Support: Assist in warehouse or on dock as needed.
