Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.

You will maintain delivery time windows, communicate issues to supervision, and represent the company with professionalism while following safety standards and dress code. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements, a good driving record, and passing drug and physical screenings.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in 3 years.
• Must pass Drug and Physical Screening.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience.
• Valid state Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.

Job Description

The Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return the empty trailers back to the branch. Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers to return Maintain delivery time windows Immediately communicate problems with supervisor Perform duties by following the company’s safety standards Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, following dress code and cleanliness standards.

Job Qualifications

Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three (3) years. Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening. At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required. Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.

Ability to operate/drive a single axle with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft., trailers with tandem axle tractors. Must have High School Diploma or GED - Work experience may be substituted for education.

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
