JDH Infrastructure Group is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver to support civil construction operations in Plainfield, IN. You will operate a tri-axle dump truck, haul materials, and assist with related field tasks as needed.

This primarily local, home-daily role offers steady work on active sites with overtime potential, a strong safety culture, and a modern fleet. Ideal candidates value safety, work independently, and collaborate with crews to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Acceptable driving record and safe driving practices.
• Experience operating tri-axle dump trucks or similar heavy trucks.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, and load securement requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist with manual labor and construction-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck in support of civil construction projects.
• Transport dirt, stone, aggregate, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Haul construction equipment using trailers as needed.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Maintain proper load securement and comply with all DOT regulations.
• Operate safely in active construction environments around crews and heavy equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, site cleanup, and general construction activities.
• Perform manual labor and support field crews as project needs require.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained truck, trailer, and work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, foremen, project managers, and dispatch personnel.
• Follow all company safety standards, OSHA requirements, and operational procedures.
