Job summary

Reworld is seeking a CDL Class A driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to safely transport hazardous materials on a home-daily schedule from the Hodgkins, IL location. You will operate pumping equipment, perform inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include equipment loading/unloading, maintaining compliance with DOT rules, and communicating route status. The role requires a strong safety mindset and flexibility for occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Strong tanker experience with hazardous or fuel related materials preferred.
• 3–5 years of CDL A experience operating tankers recommended.
• Acceptable driving record required.
• Local home daily schedule with possible weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport and pump hazardous materials.
• Operate pumping equipment to load, unload, and move material between facilities and customer sites.
• Slip seat between available units and drive various vehicles as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, pumps, hoses, and equipment.
• Monitor driving behavior with onboard systems and stay compliant with DOT regulations.
