Reworld is seeking a CDL Driver II Class A to safely transport and pump hazardous petroleum materials on a local route with a home-daily schedule from the Hodgkins, IL facility. Applicants should have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a clean driving record.

Manual transmission experience is highly preferred, and weekend availability may be required. Responsibilities include operating tanker equipment, performing pre/post trips, documenting logs, and ensuring proper placarding and compliance

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required.
• Strong tanker experience with hazardous or fuel-related materials.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work a local home daily schedule; weekend availability may be required.
• Manual transmission experience strongly preferred, automatic only drivers considered.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport and pump hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Operate pumping equipment to load, unload, and move material between facilities and customer sites.
• Slip seat between available units and operate different vehicles as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, pumps, hoses, and equipment.
• Monitor driving behavior and compliance through onboard systems (Samsara).
• Complete required transportation and compliance documentation (manifests, logs, reports).
• Ensure vehicles are placarded for hazardous materials at all times.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delays.
• Follow route directions and adapt to client/site needs.
• Maintain safe work practices to protect staff and the public.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
