Job summary

Mixon Seed in Newton, GA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for a full-time, on-site role based at our Newton warehouse. You will load, transport, and deliver seed products across the Southeast with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer service.

Responsibilities include daily pre-trip checks, route planning using GPS, on-time deliveries, and maintaining equipment. Ideal candidates commute to Newton, GA and travel regionally as needed, while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of semi-truck driving experience.
• Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel across the Southeast.
• Must reliably commute to Newton, GA.
• Comfort with GPS directions and company tech.

Responsibilities

• Report daily to Newton, GA warehouse to prep trucks and receive delivery assignments.
• Safely transport seed products to customers across the Southeast.
• Plan routes with GPS and company systems; complete deliveries on schedule.
• Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse staff.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
