Job summary

Dakota Provisions seeks a driver to transport turkeys from local farms to processing plants in South Dakota. You will operate tractors and flatbed trailers, with mostly no touch freight as loading is handled by farms/plants. Home daily with regular pay and holiday schedule.

Based in Huron, SD, the role involves multiple trips per day and occasional holiday work between Sunday and Thursday. Trucks may be taken home with AM approval, depending on route and performance.

Position Details

• Tractors and Trailers will be based in Huron, SD.
• Turkeys to be delivered from local farms to processing plants.
• Drivers are responsible for picking up turkeys on flatbed trailers and delivering them to the plant.
• No Touch Freight. (No handling of live animals the farms/plant take care of loading and offloading).
• Driver will have multiple trips per day.

Special Requirements

• Drivers will work most holidays if the holiday falls within the Sunday - Thursday schedule.
