Job summary

Transporting Logistics in Huron, SD is seeking a Local Livehaul Truck Driver to join our high-demand fleet. You’ll run a 200-mile local radius on 48-foot flatbeds with 100% no-touch freight and get weekends at home.

Earn an estimated $85,500–$90,000 annually with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus per-mile and per-stop pay, safety bonuses, and a weekly service salary for punctuality. DOT-compliant, you’ll undergo drug screening, background check, and DOT physical.

Qualifications

• 3 months of driving in last 36 months (and valid CDL)
• Successful DOT drug screening (urine + hair) and background check
• DOT physical required before hire

Local Livehaul Truck Driver | $85,500 - $90,000 Annual Average + $5K Bonus

Hey drivers, are you sick of missing out on life at home for weak miles and inconsistent dispatch? I'm looking for reliable operators right now to fill our high-demand local livehaul fleet anchored out of Huron, SD, where you get top-tier local pay and your weekends free.

1. The Earnings & Bonus

• Start your local career pulling in an estimated annual average of $85,500 to $90,000 (averaging about $70,200 your first year while you get the hang of the route) plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
• You'll earn $0.65 per mile, $44.00 per stop, safety bonuses, and an extra $100 weekly service salary for punctuality and zero call-offs.

2. The Daily Run & Equipment

• Operating out of Huron, SD, you will run a 200-mile local radius picking up turkeys from area farms on 48-foot flatbed trailers.
• It's 100% no-touch freight - farms and plants handle all the loading and offloading.
• You'll be behind the wheel of an automatic day cab with no slip seating. (Truck take-home is available with manager approval.)

3. Shift Flow & Schedule

• Your schedule is locked in from Sunday through Thursday.
• Pickups happen between 4:00 PM and 4:00 AM for processing the next day, with daily routes taking about 10-12 hours.
• You get daily home time and enjoy the serenity of rural life without metro traffic.

4. DOT Screening & Qualifications

• Bring at least 3 months of experience in the last 3 years (36 mos) behind the wheel.
• Candidates must successfully clear a mandatory pre-employment DOT drug screening, which includes both a standard urine test and a hair follicle drug screen, along with a background check and a DOT physical.
