Toledo Steel Supply is hiring a professional Class A CDL Truck Driver. You will deliver to the tri-state area of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana with day-only driving and return home each night. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule and emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, route adherence, and clear communication with dispatch. Candidates must have a clean driving record and pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer.
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive the delivery vehicle.
• Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Load and organize steel plates for safe transport and delivery.
• Unload orders at destinations and obtain confirmations.
• Inform customers and supervisor of delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and report maintenance needs.
