Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for a local, home-daily route. Earn $1,415 per week guaranteed with additional bonus opportunities. Medical, dental & vision benefits start after 30 days, PTO accrues from day one, and a 401(k) with company match is available after a year.

Tractor type: Day Cab with 53' Dry Van; Freight is No Touch. Flexibility for AM/PM shifts due to bid system; 300 mile radius deliveries with local home daily routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months past 3 years OR 2 years past 5 years OR 5 years past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer or guide where to assist.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
