Job summary

A leading company in metals recycling is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver in Paragould, Arkansas. The role involves operating a tractor trailer locally to transport metals, ensuring adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate will receive competitive pay and benefits including medical plans and 401k with company match. Drivers will be home each night, working Monday through Friday with potential overtime. Experience and a valid Class A CDL are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and a background check.
• Registered in Clearinghouse as required by FMCSR.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer to transport metals from suppliers to processing facility.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Secure cargo for transport and communicate any safety issues.

Skills

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

Two plus years of commercial driving experience

Ability to pass a DOT physical

Education

High School diploma or GED

Tools

Trucks up to 18 wheeler
