Job summary

ProDrivers is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver for a local, Monday-Friday position. You will operate a Class A truck on local routes hauling wheels and tires, with home daily and first-shift hours starting around 6:00 AM.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least 2 years of recent experience, a clean safety record, and strict adherence to DOT regulations. Pay is $31.50 per hour with potential overtime after 12 hours, plus benefits and consistent schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Class A driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and strong safety history.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must comply with all DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local routes hauling wheels and tires.
• Complete drop-and-hook trailer exchanges efficiently and safely.
• Transport freight to designated locations while maintaining on-time performance.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and all required DOT documentation.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, and delivery status.
• Ensure all freight is transported securely and delivered according to schedule.
• Operate automatic transmission equipment safely and responsibly throughout each shift.
• Support efficient transportation operations by maintaining a strong attendance record and dependable work performance.
