Job summary
Aventure Staffing is seeking a dependable Class A or Class B CDL Driver for local hauls with a Monday–Friday, daytime schedule. This home-daily role offers a starting pay of $19/hr, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement based on endorsements and driving history.
The position emphasizes safety, reliable attendance, and superior customer service on local routes with no nights or weekends required.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with endorsements for truck operated.
- Air brake endorsement required.
- Proven truck driving experience with clean record.
- Familiarity with manual transmissions.
- Reliable with good attendance history.
- Excellent communication with team and clients.
- Able to work in various seasonal climates.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A or B commercial vehicle.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain delivery logs and customer paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatch for routing and scheduling.
- Follow DOT, local and company safety regulations.
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers.
- Report issues with vehicle or deliveries promptly.
- Be able to lift heavy items frequently.
- Handle manual transmission vehicles with proficiency.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while on the road.
