Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must meet all DOT qualification standards, including drug screening and Med Card.
• Must have an acceptable driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• Minimum of 3 years of similar driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Employment is contingent upon passing a DOT drug and alcohol test, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate semi-truck and non-cdl trucks per state and federal laws.
• Transport loads safely and in a timely manner, obeying traffic laws and safety regs.
• Safely load/unload goods, assist with loading when needed, return equipment to designated area.
• Maintain invoices, bills of lading, and required paperwork; submit to shipping office.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine inspections for safety and compliance.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage in transit and ensure weight distribution.
• Update electronic logbook and trip reports; stay DOT compliant.
• Communicate issues upon delivery and interact professionally with customers.
