Job summary

Qualifications

• Must follow DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• At least 1 year of route driving experience.
• DOT certification required.
• Valid State Class A CDL license.
• Must understand and enforce regulatory guidelines.
• Know-how of customer service principles and quality standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; quick to learn new apps.
• Able to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and ensure timely customer satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies; request service as needed.
• Assemble orders for delivery with accurate windows for each stop.
• Store delivered products at assigned locations per customer requests.
• Maintain accuracy and prevent damage during handling of products.
• Read maps and follow written/verbal directions.
• Communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor by phone.
• Review invoices to determine items to be moved and delivered.
• Maintain vehicle logs, cargo and billing records per BEK policies.
