Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Rialto, CA is seeking a Class A CDL driver for local flatbed deliveries. You will transport reinforced concrete pipe to job sites, maintain logbooks, and ensure compliance with DOT rules.

This role offers home daily, a Monday–Friday schedule with possible Saturday shifts, with a pay of $26 per hour plus overtime and bonuses; annual earnings around $95,000 including OT.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass background, MVR, drug test, and DOT physical.
• 2–5 years flatbed experience preferred.
• Monday - Friday shift; occasional Saturday flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Transport concrete pipes to job sites
• Verify that the order matches shipment
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, report it to our mechanics to fix
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
