Job summary

Optimum Staffing , Inc. is seeking a full-time delivery driver in Palm Bay, FL to perform local building materials deliveries Monday–Friday. Work hours start between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with 8–10 hour shifts and OT after 40 hours.

You will operate various truck types and a Moffett forklift, ensuring loads are secured and paperwork is completed to DOT standards. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with 24 months of verifiable experience, forklift experience, and the ability to pass DOT

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Previous truck-mounted Moffett forklift experience REQUIRED.
• Comfort operating Tractor Trailers, Straight Trucks, and Box Trucks.
• Experience performing Touch Freight and unloading building materials using a Moffett and pallet jack.
• Comfort delivering to residential and commercial locations.
• Available Monday–Friday starting between 6:00 AM–8:00 AM with overtime as needed.
• Able to pass DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background checks.
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Earn $23.00+/HR | $1,200–$1,400 Weekly Depending on Overtime
• Full-Time | Home Daily | Weekends Off | OT After 40 Hours
• Work Monday–Friday, starting between 6:00 AM–8:00 AM, averaging 8–10-hour shifts
• Operate a Day Cab with 48′ Tractor Trailer, 28′ Straight Truck with Moffett, or Box Truck, depending on assigned route
• Complete local deliveries of building materials to residential and commercial locations
• Perform Touch Freight, including loading and unloading building materials at customer delivery locations
• Operate a truck-mounted Moffett forklift and manual pallet jack to safely unload and move materials
• Secure loads, complete delivery paperwork, and follow all DOT safety regulations while providing professional customer

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Previous truck-mounted Moffett forklift experience REQUIRED
• Must be comfortable operating Tractor Trailers, Straight Trucks, and Box Trucks, depending on assigned route
• Must have experience performing Touch Freight and unloading building materials using a Moffett and manual pallet jack
• Must be comfortable completing residential and commercial deliveries, including maneuvering in varying delivery environments
• Must be available Monday–Friday, starting between 6:00 AM–8:00 AM, with overtime as needed
