We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused **Local Truck Driver** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods originating from the Salt Lake City area and delivering to various locations in eastern Idaho, eastern Nevada and throughout the state of Utah. Candidate is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety standards.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) for local deliveries and pickups
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
• Assist in unloading freight as needed
• Unsure loads are properly secured
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, and fuel records
• Interact professionally with customers and staff, providing excellent service
• Comply with all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, incidents, or route changes
  
  

### **Qualifications:**

• Valid CDL Class A
• Clean driving record (MVR) and current DOT medical card
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Strong time management and navigation skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
  
  

### **Schedule:**

• Shifts are typically Monday - Friday and fall between 5:00 am - 5:00 pm.
• Home daily -- some overnight travel may be required
• Occasional weekend or evening shifts as needed
