Job summary

J Rose Enterprises is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate regional routes out of the Perryville, MD distribution center. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, navigating multiple stops weekly, and returning to the distribution center after completing routes.

The role requires 3 months of solo driving experience and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs with pallet jacks. Candidates must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check to join a 24/7 operation with

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull freight from Perryville, MD distribution center and execute regional loops into PA, NJ, and NY before returning to the DC.
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks and manage 10–20 stops per week.
• Operate in a 24/7 night schedule with dispatch windows from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities & Fleet Details

• The Route: Pull freight directly from the Perryville, MD distribution center, executing dedicated regional loops into Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Staten Island, NY, before returning back to the DC.
• Active Unloading (Touch Freight): This is a multi-stop delivery fleet averaging 10 to 20 stops per week. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers utilizing company-provided pallet jacks.
• Night Operations: The fleet operates 24/7. Available dispatch windows start in the evening and early morning hours between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM.

Requirements

• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Experience: 3 months solo Verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
• Physical Stamina: Must be physically capable of lifting and pulling up to 75 lbs. routinely to manage pallet jack deliveries.
• Commute: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute daily to the yard. Trucks must remain parked at the distribution center and cannot be taken home.
• Must live within 45 miles of Perryville, MD.
• Must pass a standard DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
