Home daily on a 5‑day schedule with potential weekend shifts. Dispatches run mainly between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM, delivering to Southern California with 2–3 stops per shift and backhaul to the DC.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
• Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Residence within 50 miles of Shafter, CA.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate local, dedicated account from the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA.
• Deliver to locations across Southern California with 2–3 stops per shift and backhaul to the DC.
• No-touch freight with modern automatic transmission trucks (dry van and reefer).
• Home daily in a 5‑day work week with 2 consecutive days off; weekends may be required.
• Dispatch mostly between 15:00 and 21:00; slip-seat operation at the Shafter DC.

Job Details & Schedule

• Home Time: Home daily.
• Work Schedule: 5-day work week with 2 consecutive days off (e.g., Mon/Tue, Tue/Wed, Wed/Thu, or Thu/Fri). Weekend shifts are expected.
• Dispatch Times: Majority of loads depart the DC between 15:00 and 21:00 (3:00 PM - 9:00 PM).
• Routes: Deliveries from the Shafter, CA DC to locations across Southern California, averaging 2-3 stops per shift with a backhaul return to the DC.
• Equipment: Modern, well-maintained automatic transmission trucks pulling dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers.
• Operation: Slip-seat operation; trucks are parked at the Shafter DC.

Compensation & Benefits

• Weekly Earnings: $1,260.00 to $1,575.00 average per week.
• Employment Status: Full W-2 employee.

Driver Qualifications
