Job summary

J Rose Logistics seeks local Class A drivers to operate out of the Shafter, CA distribution center. Drive reliable routes, get home daily, and work a dedicated schedule with afternoon/evening starts from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on a slip-seat, on-site fleet.

Our modern automatic trucks keep you comfortable while DOT logs and safety checks are part of the routine. Earn $1,260 to $1,575 weekly, with full W-2 benefits (health, dental, vision) and paid time off. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must live within 50 miles of the Shafter, CA terminal.
• Clean driving record and acceptable safety history.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport dry van and refrigerated freight from the Shafter DC to retail locations across Southern California.
• Complete 2–3 deliveries per shift and return to the DC on a dedicated backhaul route.
• Perform standard pre-trip and post-trip equipment safety checks.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and DOT compliance.

Job description

Earn an average of $1,260 to $1,575 per week without pulling or unloading freight. We have immediate openings for local Class A drivers on a dedicated distribution fleet based out of Shafter, CA. Drive reliable routes, get home daily, and enjoy full W-2 benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport dry van and refrigerated freight from the Shafter DC to retail locations across Southern California.
• Complete 2–3 deliveries per shift and return to the DC on a dedicated backhaul route.
• Perform standard pre-trip and post-trip equipment safety checks.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and DOT compliance.

Schedule & Fleet Details:

• Home Time: Home daily.
• Days Off: 2 consecutive days off per week (e.g., Mon/Tue, Tue/Wed, Wed/Thu, or Thu/Fri).
• Start Times: Afternoon/Evening dispatch windows (3:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
• Equipment: Modern automatic trucks; slip-seat operation parked on-site at the DC.

Qualifications:
