Position Summary

Drives freight between company terminals and customer facilities or work sites within a defined geographic area, ensuring claims-free and cost-efficient deliveries.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pick up freight.
• Handle, load, and unload freight at various locations.
• Plan routes and schedules for timely deliveries and pickups.
• Follow established safety, freight handling, and billing procedures.
• Conduct safety and quality inspections.
• Maintain records and load-related paperwork.
• Serve as the first point of contact for delivery issues.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.75 per hour, based on experience.
Benefits include health insurance, dental, free life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k) with company match, holiday pay, paid vacation and sick days, and an employee stock purchase plan.

Job Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

• Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Clean motor vehicle report and endorsements (hazmat, tankers, doubles, triples).
• At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift and move objects of various sizes and weights.
