Position Summary

Drives freight between company terminals and customer facilities or work sites within a defined geographic area. Ensures freight is delivered in a claims-free and cost-efficient manner.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight.
2. Sort, handle, load, and unload freight at various company and customer locations.
3. Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
4. Follow established pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing procedures.
5. Conduct inspections following safety and quality control procedures.
6. Maintain records, forms, and load-related paperwork.
7. Serve as the first point of contact for delivery-related issues.

Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Class A commercial driver's license.
• Safe motor vehicle report and applicable endorsements, including hazmat, tankers, doubles, and triples.
• At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
