Qualifications

• Proficient in operating heavy and complex construction equipment.
• Understanding of construction materials, methods, and tools.
• Awareness of hazards and safety measures related to equipment operation and construction sites.
• Familiarity with trenching and shoring standards.
• Ability to operate equipment in varied conditions with good judgment.
• Reading, writing and basic math for records/blueprints.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of construction equipment and machinery safely and efficiently across job sites.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.
• Report issues or incidents promptly to supervisors or management.
• Adhere to daily assignments and project expectations from the Foreman.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment and report major problems.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and required documentation.
• Help train less-experienced team members in equipment operation and repair.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned.
