Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to safely deliver propane to homes and businesses on local routes in California. You will be the face of Ferrellgas in the community, delivering with professionalism and safety.

Requirements include a CDL (Class A or B) with endorsements or the ability to obtain quickly, and a high school diploma. You must be physically able to lift up to 60 pounds and maintain a good driving record. Training is provided and you’ll be home every night.

Qualifications

• CDL required or able to obtain quickly.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements preferred or capable of obtaining them.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Assist customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergencies.
