Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience (front-load/waste industry or heavy vehicle experience preferred).
• Comfort with operating front-end loading trucks and hydraulic lifting systems.
• Ability to step in and out of the cab and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loading trucks and hydraulic systems to lift and empty waste containers in the High Point area.
• Navigate local commercial sites, business parks, and tight urban spaces safely and efficiently.
• Represent GFL Environmental as the face of the company to commercial partners.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate with dispatchers and operations teams to resolve route challenges.
