Job summary

Environmental & Disposal Management in Troy, MI is seeking a full-time on-site Driver to operate local waste transport routes under DOT guidelines. CDL Class A or B with a clean record is required; prior environmental/waste experience is preferred.

Duties include pre- and post-trip inspections, securing loads, logging paperwork, and professional interaction with customers and site personnel. Safety PPE is mandatory. EDM offers 401(k) and health insurance, with hourly pay of $27.00–$33.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL driving experience on local routes preferred.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Ability to lift and move materials; able to work on-site in Troy, MI.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with logs and manifests and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform local routes transporting waste materials to treatment facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure loads, and complete required logs.
• Complete logs and paperwork accurately.
• Interacting with customers and site personnel professionally.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Report incidents or equipment issues promptly.
