Job summary

Distribution International is seeking a safety-sensitive Delivery Driver for local operation and customer-facing responsibilities. The role requires reading, writing and navigating, with a start between 5:30 am and 7:00 am.

You will occasionally assist in the warehouse and perform other duties as assigned. Applicants must be at least 18, possess a valid driver's license if driving, and have 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience with a 10,001–26,000 lb vehicle, plus an acceptable DMV

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001-26,000 lbs vehicle).
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills—drivers are the ambassadors of the company and build relationships with customers.
• Able to read, write and understand English; use navigation software.
• Shift schedule varies from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.
• Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
