Job summary

SPI seeks a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse associate to deliver and unload products to customer sites, while assisting in warehouse operations. The role requires safe local driving, basic loading/unloading, and strong customer service skills.

The position involves reading/understanding English, using navigation software, and starts between 5:30 am and 7:00 am with warehouse duties about 20% of the time. This is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to customer locations.
• Assist in the Warehouse as needed to receive, store and distribute inventory.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Read/write/understand English and use navigation software.
