Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC in Newport, MN is seeking a professional commercial driver for routes within 150 miles of the home base. You will deliver and pick up containers, assist with loading, and ensure timely, safe deliveries to customers.

You will manage paperwork, maintain DOT logs, perform daily vehicle inspections, and coordinate with warehouses and ports of entry. A CDL with endorsements is required, along with FMCSA knowledge and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Meet FMCSR Part 391 requirements.
• Valid CDL with endorsements in state of residence.
• No conviction for a “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” within the last 3 years.
• No more than four moving violations in the past 36 months; no more than two in 12 months.
• Two years of experience operating tractor/trailer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up containers/trailers and assists with loading/unloading; reports discrepancies.
• Processes paperwork including purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading, and shipping schedules.
• Maintains DOT vehicle logs, conducts daily vehicle inspections, and relays information between ports and warehouses.
• Performs other driving and warehouse duties as required.
