Job summary

Americold is seeking a CDL driver based in Minnesota to efficiently deliver and pickup containers within a 150-mile radius of the home base. You will process paperwork, logs, and schedules, ensuring safe and timely deliveries to customers.

Requirements include a valid CDL with proper endorsements, FMCSA compliance, a clean driving record, and at least two years of tractor-trailer experience. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL with proper endorsements in state of residence (FMCSR compliance).
• Two years of experience operating tractor/trailer equipment preferred.
• No serious or disqualifying violations within the last 3 years.
• Clean driving record with no license suspensions or revocations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up containers/trailers at warehouse and customer locations and assists with unloading/loading.
• Processes paperwork including POs, invoices, dispatch sheets, bills of lading, and shipping schedules; may create and track invoices.
• Maintains DOT logs and performs daily equipment inspections; relays information between ports of entry and warehouses.
• Performs other driving or warehouse duties as required.
