Job summary

Central Transport is seeking home daily overnight linehaul drivers in the Evansville area. Drivers will leave from a terminal, travel to another Central Transport facility, and return home the same day.

Our drivers keep a reliable, on-time schedule across the network, supporting customer expectations and partner relationships. Position offers competitive compensation and benefits with a focus on safety and compliance, including HazMat/Tanker endorsement support and DOT drug screening

Qualifications

• 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Must have acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUIs within last 5 years (no more than 1 in lifetime).
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Operate home daily overnight linehaul runs between Central Transport terminals.
• Leave from your home terminal/ designated terminal and return after trips.
• Deliver reliable, on-time service to customers as part of the network.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
