Job summary

MAKS Plastics Mishawaka, Indiana is seeking a Driver Class A for local routes. The Manufacturing Driver will transport materials, components, and finished products between facilities, warehouses, suppliers, and customers, ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

The role requires a valid CDL, DOT medical exam, drug screening, and at least two years of commercial driving experience. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and comply with DOT regulations while representing MAKS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to pass DOT medical examination and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to transport materials, components, and finished products.
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup schedules.
• Plan optimal routes for material and product transportation.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper securing and handling of cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report any mechanical issues or vehicle damage immediately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure vehicles meet all safety and regulatory standards.
