Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a local CDL truck driver in Cutler, CA to load/unload, operate semi-trucks, and transport loads while following DOT rules and completing paperwork. This is a full-time role with a strong safety culture and home-time balance.

Applicants must hold a CDL (hazmat endorsement preferred), have a clean driving record, meet DOT medical requirements, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer by using forklift or hand truck.
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers, according to state laws.
• Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct standard DOT truck inspection.
• Complete all company and DOT required paperwork.
• Complete shipping bills of lading, receive necessary signatures, and return completed paperwork to shipping office.
• Maintain any related records required.
• Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking daily oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires.
• Report any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance dept.
• Other duties as assigned.
