Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a local delivery driver in Minnesota (East Chain) to load and unload materials, operate a semi-truck with one or two trailers, and transport loads while following DOT rules and safety standards.

You must meet the DOT physical and medical requirements and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer a stable full-time schedule with pay, benefits, and opportunities for overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

• Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer by forklift or hand truck.
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers, according to state laws.
• Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct standard DOT truck inspection.
• Complete all company and DOT required paperwork.
• Complete shipping bills of lading, obtain necessary signatures, and return paperwork to shipping office.
• Maintain related records as required.
• Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires.
• Report maintenance malfunctions to maintenance dept.
• Other duties as assigned.
