Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver to join our team in Kansas City, MO. You will handle local truckload deliveries, typically performing drop-and-hook operations and driving a 53’ automatic truck for long shifts. You are home daily with weekends off and no touch freight.

The role requires at least 1 year of CDL-A experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and road test. Competitive hourly pay is offered with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within (40-600 of miles) making about (1-10 of routes) routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (8-14 hours) shifts.
