Job summary

SRS Building Products - Mentor is seeking a CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials to job sites within a 200-mile radius, verify inventory, and uphold safety standards. The role emphasizes professional customer service, teamwork, and timely deliveries.

You will inspect vehicles, load/unload materials, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while adhering to DOT/OSHA regulations. A valid CDL and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Requires experience in commercial driving and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate forklifts safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations with no overnight travel.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards.

Skills

CDL Class A/B with air brakes
