Job summary

SRS Building Products - Akron is seeking a CDL driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of building materials within a 200-mile radius. You will verify inventory, follow safety protocols, and maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism and teamwork.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, accurate delivery documentation with photos, and supporting yard operations while upholding OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations; ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Communicate effectively in English; pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify.
• High school diploma or GED; ADA accommodations available and diversity encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations with no overnight travel.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
