Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of 2 yrs verified experience in past 4 yrs; 3+ preferred.
• ICC medical certificate per 49 CFR 391.41.
• No positive drug or alcohol test in past 5 yrs.
• No at-fault accidents in past 3 yrs.
• No DUI/DWI or reckless driving in past 5 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Drives semi-tractor/trailers for up to 11 hours after 10 hours off-duty on runs of up to one week or more.
• P&D locally.
• Backs trailers to customer dock.
• Complies with DOT safety regulations and professional driving behavior.
• Communicates with customers and dispatchers clearly and professionally.
• Secures cargo and balances it in the vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
