Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Local CDL Driver in Henderson, CO to deliver compressed gas cylinders along designated routes. You will operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle, load/unload, collect signatures, and address customer inquiries while maintaining safety and vehicle condition.

Position features a Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend on-call; starting pay is $31 per hour with quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and paid

Qualifications

• At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT in the past 5 years.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain hazmat upon contingency of offer.
• A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and must be at least 21 years old.
• High physical capability; routinely lift 25–75 lbs, up to 125+ lbs with equipment.
• Able to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Be a Customer Ambassador: drive an established route, deliver compressed gas cylinders and related products, handle orders, resolve service issues, build relationships.
• Safety and Efficiency: load, transport, and unload products safely, adhering to DOT and company regulations.
• Maintain Your Vehicle: perform routine maintenance checks and keep the truck clean for daily routes.
• Physical and time demands: operate a straight or box truck up to 8 hours daily with safety as priority.
