Job summary

PSC Group is hiring Local CDL/Truck Driver - Class A - Home Daily. This full-time role involves operating shunting/tank and box trailers at the plant and customer locations, with a home daily schedule and strong benefits. You’ll perform pre/post-trip inspections and log hours per DOT, coordinating with supervision.

Requirements: valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement; pass DOT physical and hair follicle drug screen; 18+ years old. Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate shunting/tank trailers and box trailers to load/offload areas around plant and customer locations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and log hours per DOT regulations.
• Manage equipment, tools, and paperwork; drive to required areas.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and Unit Still Person to plan activities.
• Complete minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform JSA’s and permitting with crew; follow safety conditions and hazards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to complete the job.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation of shunting/tank trailers and box trailers to specific load/offload areas around the plant and customers warehouse location.
• Performs pre & post trip inspections and logs hours in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Manages equipment, tools, and paperwork required as well as drives the equipment to needed areas.
• Coordinates with Supervisor and Unit Still Person to manage work activities and job scope.
• Completes minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Performs JSA’s and permitting with the crew and understands safety conditions and hazards.
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

Job Qualifications

• Must possess a Valid Class A CDL Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years recorded experience
• Tanker endorsement is required
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical & Hair Follicle drug screen
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Work Schedule

12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
