Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to complete local Amazon delivery routes in and around South Gate, CA
• Load, secure, and transport freight safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of packages to designated stops along assigned routes
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain delivery logs, manifests, and electronic records using provided devices or software
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers as needed
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
• Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience preferred
• Ability to pass DOT pre‑employment drug screening and background check
• Familiarity with local South Gate, INLAND EMPIRE CA and greater Los Angeles area roads and routes
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
