Job summary

ABC Supply, America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks a CDL driver to ensure safe, on-time deliveries and home nightly. You will perform rooftop deliveries, conduct thorough load checks, capture delivery documentation with photos, and collaborate with the Delivery Material Handler for unloading.

Drug screens apply. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, meeting schedules, and providing invoices at delivery with COD collection.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo 70 lb shingles).
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pre-employment and random drug screens required.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure safe work zone at job sites.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and directives.
• Document every delivery with photos via company camera phone system.
• Complete load checks and secure materials before leaving the branch.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler for unloading and placement.
• Prepare and file logs and government paperwork promptly.
• Provide customers with invoices and collect COD payments.
• Possibly perform warehouse loading/unloading as assigned.
