Job summary

Bernick’s is seeking a part-time route driver to handle local in-town deliveries. You will transport and unload beverages to customer accounts, ensuring accurate route completion and safety compliance.

The role requires a valid CDL, the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and physical stamina for lifting up to 165 pounds. Hours are 20–30 per week with early start times between 4:00 and 5:00 am; you will be home each night with opportunities to advance within a family-owned company

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Driving record meets Bernick’s standard.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and a drug screen.
• Lift and move product weighing 50-165 pounds.
• Bend, lift, twist while moving product off the truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Rotate and merchandise beverages at customer accounts
• Complete daily routes as scheduled, with accuracy and efficiency
• Load and unload goods safely and securely
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Bend, lift, twist, while moving product off the truck
